Things to do in Downtown LA this weekend

On Saturday and Sunday the market opens at 5:00 pm and runs until 10:30 pm. It is an open-air evening food market at 2300 E 15th St, beside a historic rail spur. Hours can shift slightly.

Free things to do in LA at night

Entry is free, with no tickets, gate fees or reservations. You pay only for the food and drinks you choose, and plates are made for sharing, so a group can try several dishes without anyone ordering a full meal.

Where to eat at night in Downtown LA

The food is Mexican street food and antojitos: tacos, cemitas, fried masa, sweets and cold drinks. Each dish is available when a vendor is serving it, so the lineup changes by night. See what to eat.

Before you go

Bring cash, wear flat, closed-toe shoes, and check the parking signs. Kids and leashed dogs are welcome. The market is open air, and heavy rain or wind may pause it.

Plan your arrival

Arrive in the first hour for the full lineup and shorter waits, then stay as the alley fills up.

Getting there

Free street parking and a rideshare pin are covered in the parking and rideshare guide.
